I'm beginning to get nervous about the auditions. I haven't decided yet what song to sing for the auditions - should I stick with selections from the musical at hand? choose something that shows off my range more? It's difficult.
I hope everyone else's preparations are going well. I think it will be a strong cast.

I think I have a good chance at getting a lead role. Is that saying too much? I'm trying to be less... off-putting than I was in High School. What are you auditioning with? Have you been working your higher ranges? The lead role is a tenor, after all.

College thus far has been successful. I haven't met that many people yet, but really, I have to focus on my career. Many people from my High School seemed to have ended up here too, I'm not sure how that happened, I'm a long way from Lima apparently not long enough.
It's been difficult to secure a practice room every time I need it. I will have to find someone to convince that I need to have my own reserved at all times. You can't practice enough if you are going to be a star, like I am, and my myspace page needs to be updated.
